Getting started

Do I need an account?

Yes. Every account gets its own vocabulary, and an account is what lets the same notebook appear on your iPhone and iPad. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Sign in with Apple.

How do I add words?

Three ways: add one by hand from the menu, paste a conversation into 从对话收词 and pick the words out of it, or let an AI assistant record words for you through the MCP connection.

Voice conversations

The microphone does not work

Open the Settings app, find Vocal Buddy, and make sure Microphone is switched on. Voice conversations also need an internet connection — they are a live call with the model, not offline speech recognition.

Why did my call end on its own?

Usually a dropped network. Move somewhere with better signal and start the call again; any words already saved during the call are kept.

Connecting an AI assistant (MCP)

What is the MCP connection?

Every account has a private endpoint and token, shown under 连接 AI 助手. Paste them into any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol. After that, asking the assistant to record a word saves it straight into your notebook — no copying and pasting.

My token leaked. What now?

Open 连接 AI 助手 and rotate the token. The old one stops working immediately, and you re-paste the new one into your assistant.

How do I delete a word?

Swipe the row in the word list. The word is removed from the device and from the sync server.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@beautyinno.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete the account. Everything associated with it — words, sync records, and the MCP token — is removed, and we will confirm when it is done.

What is sent where?

The short version: Cloudflare hosts your notebook, and OpenAI powers the conversations and definitions. Nothing else. The Privacy Policy spells this out in full.
